Heroforge 5.1.2.5 Beta and Spellforge 4.1.3
This is the latest version of the D&D character generator Heroforge as developed by the Heroforge Project to further develop the original program designed by Christopher Mathieu and Shannon Greene. This version, completed in August 2007, includes most recently released D&D material. This is the open beta version of what will likely be the final heroforge release unless and until a new version is produced for D&D 4.0.

Animal Companion Worksheet
Not technically a Heroforge program, this excel worksheet is useful for generating an animal companion or simple riding dog.

MOORFORGE 0.1
This is a project in the works, I just started playing the Blackmoor MMRPG recently and wanted to be able to use heroforge to make a blackmoor character. Here is what I have done so far, mostly just getting the races to work. New versions will be posted as I get more done on them.

DragonForge
A Dragon Generating Variant of HeroForge
When playing a recent game of Living Greyhawk, a fellow player player remarked to me that, for a game named "Dungeon's and Dragons", there are relatively few mods that involve dragons. I'm a big fan of dragons as enemy NPCs, but I recognize that it usually takes a lot of effort to generate a dragon NPC. To that end, I tinkered around with the Heroforge program and tried to adapt it to make dragons of up to 20 HD. My hope is that Dragonforge will be a useful aid to mod authors in living games as well as those who like to use Dragons in their home games.
This is very much a work in progress. I'm happy with the level of success I've had so far, but I still have not been able to get everything to work right. As of the most current update (3/3/05) I've gotten all the natural attack routines working (including tail slaps). My next goal is to get the secondary breath weapons for metallic dragons fully functional (along with a few gem dragon breath weapons). Sorcerer casting levels do not show up yet for those dragons that would have them and this is a long term goal. For now, the best I can recommend is to generate an appropriate level human sorcerer and use its spell sheet. I still haven't yet begun to try to make sure that the feats in the Monsterous Manual or Dracronomicon work with this program. Even with these limitations, however, I believe it is far easier to generate a dragon using Dragonforge than not using it. This version is based on the older Heroforge rather than the new 4.0 files. I hope eventually to update to the newer version when possible.
